The Great British Heritage Pass gives free* entry to hundreds of historic houses, castles and gardens throughout the country.

It's great value for independent overseas travellers to Britain, offering unlimited entry to almost 600 properties for just one price. You have three different Passes to choose from: a 7-day Pass, a 15-day Pass or a one month Pass. From 2003 a new 4-day Pass will also be available.

Famous attractions
Properties include Tower Bridge, Stonehenge, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Castle Howard, Caernarfon Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Free gazetteer
An illustrated gazetteer giving details of the properties and their opening times is provided free with your Pass. It's divided into seven areas: Scotland, England’s North Country, Central England, Greater London, the South of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Approximate locations of properties are plotted on regional maps

*The Tower of London is half price; all other properties give free entry with the Pass.
